Discipleship to Abiding

The case of victory, what does it look like?

-Victory in Christ allows us to live in peace regardless of the events in our lives

-to live with Yes to self, is to say yes to my true self (The Spirit born identity that came at salvation)

We are called to many more Yes’s than No’s in this life with Christ.

In abiding we find we walk with him in agenda harmony and purpose, while making the members of our body slaves to righteousness.

Discipleship, is it important?

Discipleship is modeled by Christ Jesus himself as the method of walking with and teaching. IT allows us to see the product of what we are being taught. It is not meant to be a few weeks, but rather years in the making. Discipleship should comb through scripture, seeing what truth is in the Word of God, while focusing on how to apply it to our lives (for Transformation). By having a biblical mentor walk us through the Bible, and the practicality of God’s Word in everyday life we can grow unparalleled in our faith and walk with Christ.
